Bright aromatics meet layered fruit in this beautifully balanced Estate Cabernet Franc. Notes of juniper, perfumed florals, and ripe blueberry lead into a bramble-driven palate of strawberry, blackberry, and subtle herbal tones. Refined tannins and balanced structure carry through to a smooth, lingering finish that feels both fresh and quietly complex.

Fruit for this vintage was sourced from two sites: a large majority from Block 15, a 4.5-acre Estate block planted in 2017 to Cabernet Franc Clones 11 and 12 and now in prime production, and Lemmons Vineyard on Crane Ridge, a north-facing site influenced by morning fog, daily Pacific winds, and gravelly loam soils shaped by the Greenville Fault.
The vintage was marked by abundant rains that nourished the soils before a cooler spring and summer created a long growing season. The grapes matured at a slow and steady pace, until many varietals ripened simultaneously, prompting a compressed harvest that kicked off on September 13th, the latest start we've seen since 2011. One of the finest vintages in years, 2023 yielded superb fruit with great flavors along with concentrated and balanced acids at lower sugar levels.
