From the start, enticing aromas of bright red cherry and raspberry leap from the glass. Followed on the palate with ripe plum flavors complemented by notes of black pepper, allspice, and nutmeg. The finish comes together beautifully with a perfect balance of tannins that are rich yet elegant.

The majority of the Cabernet fruit came from our Estate Vineyards, Block 2 & Block 7. Block 2, also known as the Legacy Vineyard, is located next to our grape arbor, and Block 7 is adjacent to our main parking lot. The remainder came from Chavez Vineyard located in South Livermore off Vineyard Avenue.
Seasonable warm temperatures and cool nights led to a long growing season for 2018. The Livermore Valley did not see any late rains which allowed our winemaking team to let the fruit hang and mature slowly. This produced beautifully ripe fruit with intense rich flavor concentration. 2018 is sure to be a vintage to remember.
