This Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec blend presents an enticing array of flavors. Marionberry and blackberry harmonize seamlessly, complemented by subtle notes of toffee and vanilla. The wine features a smooth, velvety texture that extends gracefully into a lingering finish.

The Cabernet fruit came from our Estate Block 7 Vineyard. The deep, gravelly soils in this vineyard promote low to moderate vigor, encouraging the vines to produce rich, concentrated fruit. Water drains quickly in this soil which compels deep root growth for accessing water and nutrients found in the rich subsoils below. The Malbec is from Block 10 located behind the winery.
Minimal spring rainfall produced drought conditions thus impacting berry size and lowering the overall weight of the harvest. These small, more concentrated berries had ideal weather throughout the season producing an outstanding vintage full of bright fruit flavors and deep color.
