The Malbec grapes for this Reserve come from our Estate Block 10. This block is 9.8 acres and is located behind the winery about 200 yards west of our new Block 7 Cabernet Sauvignon along the parking lot.
Seasonable warm temperatures and cool nights led to a long growing season for 2018. The Livermore Valley did not see any late rains which allowed our winemaking team to let the fruit hang and mature slowly. This produced beautifully ripe fruit with intense rich flavor concentration. 2018 is sure to be a vintage to remember.
