A classic reflection of our Nina’s Cuvee Petite Sirah, this vintage is refined and elegant. The essence of freshly baked blueberry pie with cinnamon and a toasted graham cracker crust leaps from the glass. Silky tannins and cardamom spices enhance the fruit flavors and frame the wine for a smooth, lingering finish.

A majority of the grapes in this wine are sourced from Block 1 Heritage Vineyard. This site is a well-drained, alluvial plain with deposits of gravel and rock that contribute to the consistent production of outstanding Petite Sirah grapes year after year. The vineyard is planted in 4' x 8' rows of head-trained vines, and its exposure to a consistently sunny climate, followed by the cooling maritime influences of the Pacific Ocean, helps cultivate the distinctive flavor, complexity, and beautifully balanced acidity that are hallmarks of our Petite Sirah wines. The remaining portion of the grapes comes from Block 12.
Minimal spring rainfall produced drought conditions thus impacting berry size and lowering the overall weight of the harvest. These small, more concentrated berries had ideal weather throughout the season producing an outstanding vintage full of bright fruit flavors and deep color.
