The Petite Sirah grapes came from Block 20A in our Estate Ranch Creek Vineyard just south of S. Livermore Avenue. This small block of 12.4 acres was planted in 2003.
Seasonable warm temperatures and cool nights led to a long growing season for 2018. The Livermore Valley did not see any late rains which allowed our winemaking team to let the fruit hang and mature slowly. This produced beautifully ripe fruit with intense rich flavor concentration. 2018 is sure to be a vintage to remember.
